We are currently seeking real estate industry and building technology consultants.

Position Overview:

Our Building Technology and Sustainability (BT & S) Practice is a full-service sustainability and building automation practice that provides real world solutions to help companies improve returns via sustainable strategies.

RealFoundations' consultants work on project based engagements but may also help draft proposals and identify engagement follow-on opportunities. You will gain exposure to multiple service lines within the real estate industry while developing knowledge of industry leading tools and methodologies in a global business environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in project teams on assignments designed to reduce energy use and demand
• Provide content knowledge to clients related to sustainable practices and building technologies
• Perform Energy Modeling, energy/water calculations and provide technical assistance on projects seeking Green Building Certification
• Performing technical design review and analysis of HVAC mechanical systems for buildings and facilities
• Perform building system design, site evaluations, code/design reviews and value engineering studies
• Prepare calculations for building environmental equipment sizing and selection.
• Understand and Review Construction Documents and perform financial and statistical Analysis
• Troubleshoot issues and problems encountered during a project
• Attend client meetings and involvement in Project management, client relationship management and development

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a Related Field with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Knowledge of LEED or other Green Building rating systems (LEED AP Accreditation is a plus).
• Demonstrated success in project design
• Knowledge of/experience in total building commissioning
• Commitment to quality service and engineering
• Project or Program Management experience required.
• Must be able to communicate and work in a team environment
• Must be willing to travel
